Our Responsibility
We understand you have a choice as to how you choose to invest your savings, but as regulated professionals we also carry a duty of care. Hence this form is to request to invest a proportion of your savings into one or maybe each of our managed portfolios. We have a page dedicated to each of your choices and hopefully those pages have informed you enough to make your decision. However the FCA insist we “know our client”, sometimes choices are not made which adequately reflect your personal circumstances. In most cases we would agree with a client’s choices, but if our assessment concludes investment into one of our portfolios is a bad choice, we will not be able to carry out your instructions.

There are additional rules in place to ensure HMRC can effectively monitor the tax treatment of Flexi-Access Drawdown Accounts. The outcome is that once tax-free cash has been withdrawn, a drawdown account cannot be altered. This includes splitting the account to allow investment in several portfolios. One managed portfolio should be enough, but if you would like a mix please contact us.
